Dr. Brian D. Freidell is a highly respected and compassionate practitioner of modern dentistry.
At his office in Austin, he delivers exceptional general dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, and restorative dentistry, including TMJ therapy and dental implant restorative services.
He uses his vast experience and expansive knowledge to create healthy, natural-looking smiles.
Education and Accomplishments
Having been born in Kansas City, Missouri, Dr. Freidell became a Texan at the age of 13, when he and his family moved to Canyon, Texas. It was here where he graduated from high school and subsequently attended West Texas State University.
Earning his Bachelor of Science degree in 1981 with a double major in biology and chemistry, Dr. Freidell then completed, with honors, his dental degree from The University of Texas Dental Branch at Houston in 1985.
Dr. Freidell served as a Captain and a dentist in the United States Air Force from 1985 to 1988 receiving a Medal of Commendation in 1988. While in the Air Force, he married his sweetheart from school and they have two sons.
In 2011, he completed his training through The Dawson Academy, which is a world-famous continuing education facility emphasizing esthetic and functional principles as related to the complete masticatory system.
Dr. Freidell has been selected as a “Super Dentist” by his peers according to Texas Monthly’s Best Dentists in Texas for each year from 2007 through 2019.
He is an active member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and Texas Association of General Dentistry.
In his free time Dr. Freidell enjoys spending time with his family and three dogs, finescale modeling, model railroading, photography, and reading (primarily Sci-fi, and fantasy.)
