Services

While daily tooth care by brushing and flossing removes dental plaque from teeth and plays a pivital role in preventing cavities, gingivitis, and periodontal disease, dental hygienists can remove hardened deposits, called tartar, not removed by daily homecare.

On average, seeing a dentist twice a year for cleaning works well for most people. Some may need more frequent visits, some less. Let us work with you to build a preventive care plan.

Professional Cleaning

Our dental hygienists are highly trained in all areas of dental hygiene, whether your appointment is for a continuing care visit (cleaning) or periodontal maintenance.  We use the most updated techniques and instruments for removing hardened plaque (tartar) and stain while providing the application of topical fluoride when applicable.

We encourage our patients to be active participants in their dental health maintenance.

Examination

Our examination includes:

•  Diagnostic x-rays and intra-oral imaging
• Oral cancer screening
• Periodontal screening (for gum disease)
• Dental caries (cavities) screening
• Examination of the temporomandibular joints (TMJ) and jaw position

Continuing Care Visits

Continuing Care Visits for the whole family are vital to good oral hygiene and are the best way to detect problems at their earliest stages.

Early detection and treatment saves unnecessary discomfort, time, and money.
